After a short pause (drawing is a real business): see today what are the characteristics of plants (trees) and we do it with another map that I created, copied and distributed.
I explained that what they saw was all there was to know about plants (a summary). But as we read a map? Following the paths one at a time indicated by the arrows. Coloring each path with a different color, but beware: some words are missing here that we need us to make more complete sentences, we can enrich them wanting more.
We wrote:
Path blue
The plants come from seeds that are transported by wind or insects, like bees.
Path yellow
The plants have a trunk, branches, leaves and roots.
Green Path
The plants feed on the roots that absorb water and minerals in the soil.
Children are tired: the next time I'll put sentences together to create a text.
